Pros: Stability, Beautify Design

Conse: N/A

Completely satisfied:

- The hardware is perfectly good, stable, not failure, it is not hot enough memory because

- Beautiful modern switching power supply

- Wireless also generally good and stable

- The original firmware is for the most demanding user does not really need it open source, fortunately there are already well-functioning alternatives to this model and so there is no limit to what concerns the application

- Dwellings would normally square and metal, this spoiler "antenna" is a horror useless

The 5 star but I Gibe only because there is alternative firmware.

Pros: Sleek & Fast

Cons: N/A

So today I took the WRT610N router. As a computer scientist, I have the CD, but did not lead at first, once configured the router via the web interface. It must be said that I am actually the router as an Access Point "abuse" that is, it hangs by modem, but only an Ethernet cable to LAN port 1, which leads to my gigabit switch and DSL router. I use the wireless router in the office, the maximum throughput achieved.

I turned on the 5GHz band wireless N with channel bonding (40MHz) and operating in the 2.4 Mhz band Wireless-G to ensure that all the "old" appliances in the home, both with WPA2 AES encryption. In a Entferndung of about 3m in 5Ghz at a SMB / CIFS / Windows Sharing - throughput of 13-14Mbyte / s what is in my eyes very quickly. Tell a 2.4 Ghz Wireless-G to reach 3-3.5 MB / s that I have never achieved even by G. When I use a notebook VAIO Z21 with Intel 5100 wireless card.

Intervals have not yet measured, this is to reach not entscheident me anyway because I broke the 2.4 GHz Band 3 access points at home in order to ensure coverage of 100%.

Class unity for Linksys WRT610N
Meanwhile, there is DD-WRT for this software, however, as pre-compiled version. With this device you are prepared with a little 'know-how on VDSL
